Austin region’s most promising startup companies revealed

Austin, Texas (May 25, 2017) Tonight the Austin Chamber revealed the 2017 Austin A-List of the Hottest Startups that included 17 local companies in various stages that demonstrate business innovation.

About 175 companies were nominated and considered this year by a panel of independent judges. The companies reflected businesses in three investment stage categories: emerging, growth and scale.

Through entrepreneurship, Austin has become an established center of innovation, with companies operating in myriad traditional and emerging industries," said Jonathan Packer Interim Senior Vice President, Global Technology and Innovation. "This year’s A-List Award winners are a great reflection of what is happening in Austin broadly. We are thrilled to recognize an outstanding group of Austin's most innovative startups.”

Now in its seventh year, the A-List continues to highlight Austin's most promising and cutting-edge innovators and startups to support the addition of venture capital and talent to our city.
