I'm Jeremiah Bentley, vice president of marketing and customer engagement at Texas Mutual Insurance Company.

Giving back is important to Texas Mutual because we're here to support all businesses in Texas and their employees, and so we like to think that what we're doing is helping build a stronger, safer Texas for everyone.

Austin is where we’re based. We believe very strongly that we have a responsibility to make the place that we are and the place that we all work a better place, so we're very excited to be able to give back directly in Austin.

Our employees have a long history of volunteering. They love to give their time to a variety of causes.

We have really three main focus areas of giving at Texas Mutual, and they're related to safety, to wellness, and to education. We partner with nonprofits throughout the year.

On May 18th, United Way is putting on a scavenger hunt called Ruthless Good. It starts at 10 a.m. at the Capitol. It's a great way for people to get out, get to know people and have some fun.

Austin Gives recognizes businesses for excellence in giving back.

This is a voluntary program with no cost to the participants. We encourage all businesses who donate 1% or more of their profits to philanthropy (includes monetary donations, donated product or service, or volunteering) to join. Join here or via the form below.
