A-List Startup Focus: EverlyWell’s new services

Austin-based startup EverlyWell announced the launch of three new genomics services that expand its collection of at-home testing products. The company will use these tests to supply DNA information to customers on a range of medical concerns from metabolism, food sensitivities, and DHA levels in breast milk. This was a collaborative effort in coordination with Seattle-based genetic research company Helix.

This past May the Austin Chamber recognized EverlyWell as an emerging and innovative A-List Company for their work in biomarker consumer testing. Now in its seventh year, the A-List Awards highlight Austin's most promising and cutting-edge innovators and startups to help increase the visibility and capital investment to our city.

Founder and CEO, Julia Cheek, started EverlyWell in 2015 after a bad experience in medical testing. Having personally spent $2,000 for lab work and finding the results confusing she was determined to provide a better process with lower out-of-pocket costs to consumers. Julia moved the company from Dallas to Austin in 2016 and EverlyWell currently employs 17.
