The Austin Chamber and Opportunity Austin is pleased to welcome Honor, a home care services company at the junction of healthcare and technology, to Austin! Rapid southwest expansion has led Honor to establish a second operations center in Austin to supplement its California-based headquarters.
Honor helps “older adults live safely and comfortably in their own home by delivering reliable, transparent, high-quality care.” Honor’s technology streamlines the process of recruiting and scheduling caregivers, as well as providing client support and other various tasks. Honor primarily serves California, New Mexico and Texas clientele.
The Austin Chamber assisted Honor in choosing Austin as its second operations base.
“Over an eight-month period, the Chamber’s economic development team worked with Honor,” said Austin Chamber/Opportunity Austin Director of Economic Development Arthur Jackson. “We were successful in demonstrating to the company that Austin has the talent pool, quality of place and low cost of living that made it the right choice for their expansion.”
The Chamber’s economic development team, through Opportunity Austin, is committed to helping a diverse set of job creators relocate to or expand in Austin. The addition of Honor to Austin’s economy is another important addition to our expanding health tech sector.
