Voting for “Most Uniquely Austin” business ends Aug. 3

AUSTIN, Texas, July 24, 2018 -- The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce today announced 11 finalists for the “Most Uniquely Austin” award. The winner, to be determined through public voting, is a company that embraces Austin’s unique culture and exemplifies what it means to live and do business in the Austin region.

The award is one of 11 categories in the Chamber’s annual Greater Austin Business Awards program. Now in its 18th year, the program celebrates excellence in the local business community which helps make the Austin region one of the most desirable places in the world to live, work, and play.

“The business awards gives the Austin Chamber an opportunity to recognize businesses in our community that go above and beyond for the community and its employees,” said Lyn Chasteen, Senior Vice President of Programs & Engagement, Greater Austin Chamber. “Nominated businesses not only provide our community with jobs, but also support local services, grow the next generation of leaders, and give back to those in need.”

The finalists and winners for each category will be announced during an awards ceremony on Aug. 30 at the JW Marriott Austin. The event is open to the public. Tickets and tables can be purchased here.
