AUGUST 4, 2015, AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Chamber of Commerce and Texas Monthly Custom Publishing today announced that The Greater Austin Newcomer Guide was recognized for excellence by the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE).

The Greater Austin Newcomer Guide received recognition in the publishing category Directories and Communities in Profile at the TCCE’s Annual Excellence Awards recently held in Frisco, Texas.

“We are honored to receive recognition from TCCE for a publication that we believe provides great value in promoting the Austin region.  This is especially true for those who are relocating their lives and families to our vibrant, creative and diverse communities,” said David B. Dunham, publisher of Texas Monthly.  “It’s wonderful to continue to receive positive feedback on a publication that supports bringing jobs and talent to the area.”

As the official relocation guide of the Austin Chamber, The Greater Austin Newcomer Guide is a primary resource for new and prospective residents in the region.  The publication highlights everything from neighborhoods and surrounding communities to employment and education. It serves as a catalogue of information for all residents of Austin. With its comprehensive look at the city’s geographical, economic and social landscape, the guide informs residents of all extents about the best Austin has to offer.
