14 Additional Nonstop Flights Since January 1

Posted on 03/31/2017 by Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce

Executives tell us that they need more direct flights to key business destinations to grow their companies. Since the beginning of the year, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) has added 14 nonstop flights to now offer 60 nonstop trips overall.

The Austin Chamber of Commerce created the Air Service Task Force in 2008 to partner with the ABIA and increase the number of direct US and international flights to Austin. The task force, chaired by Dell executive Doug Driskill, is comprised of industry, education, and aviation partners that support improved infrastructure to the airport, nonstop flights, and numerous carriers to advance the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA).
