Austinite of the Year
The Austinite of the Year Award is the Austin Chamber's highest honor that recognizes an individual who exemplifies the spirit of Austin through outstanding community leadership, civic engagement, and significant contributions to the city’s growth and well-being.

Established in 1984 to celebrate those who make a lasting impact on Austin’s culture, economy, and quality of life, the award highlights individuals whose efforts have helped shape the city’s dynamic future while staying true to its unique character and values.
Each year, the recipient of the award is chosen by the Austin Chamber's Board Chair and awarded at the Chamber's Annual Meeting.
