Each year Central Texas regional executives identify traffic and transit as top weakness to business retention and expansion. The 2nd Annual State of Transportation supports the Chamber's Take on Traffic efforts to advocate for a regional, comprehensive, multi-modal transportation system that supports the recruitment and retention of top jobs and talent.
Our keynote speaker Texas Transportation Commission Chair, Deirdre Delisi will address how the recent legislative sessions impacts transportation.
She will be followed by a panel of business leaders, moderated by Clarke Heidrick, Chair-Elect of the Austin Chamber and Chairman at Graves, Dougherty, Hearon & Moody, who will discuss how transportation is impacting their business and employees today and their future expansion and talent recruitment plans.
Panelists include:
- Bobby Jenkins, President ABC Services & Chair, Austin Chamber of Commerce
- Ken Allen, Sr. Vice President, of Supply Chain & Logistics, HEB (retired)
- Terence Spielman, Senior Director, Product Development & General Manager, Austin PayPal
After the panel, Terry Mitchell, Chamber Board Member, Take on Traffic Chair, and President of Momark Development will call the business community to action. You're not going to want to miss it!
