Guidelines for submitting for Member News: Submissions must be emailed to communication@austinchamber.com by noon on Friday to be considered for the following week (submissions will be placed on this page and run for seven days).
Keep copy to less than 100 words, in paragraph format. You may submit a web-friendly company logo (jpg, .gif or .png and saved to 72 dpi. With a print size no larger than 3" X 3") as well, but this needs to be a separate attachment and not embedded into copy.
Submissions are limited to two per week; totaling 100 words. (We limit the number of total published submissions to 10 per week.)
If your company has been featured in the local news via broadcast television and you have a link to the YouTube hosted video of the broadcast story, please email the URL and a brief 50 word max description to communication@austinchamber.com - the video will be displayed on our Media Spotlight page.
Please Note: Duplicate text submissions must be submitted at least two weeks apart. We do not run duplicate submissions two weeks in a row, and re-submissions are only considered after new member news has been fulfilled.

Capital Metro Introduces New Summer Program: Haul Pass


Capital Metro is offering a safe & fun way for younger riders to get around Austin this summer with its new fare card, the Haul Pass. The pass gives parents the opportunity to purchase three months of unlimited bus & rail travel from June-August 2013 for $45 – giving students easy access to the places they want to go this summer. The card, designed for students 6-18, acts as a transit pass, and offers all the perks available through Go Local, including discounts at such popular places as Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Austin Canoe and Kayak, Book People and Torchy’s Tacos.
