The Blood Center of Central Texas and Blue Bell Creameries team up to boost summer donations during their annual Pint for Pint blood donation promotion. Donors are invited to come to the Austin Donor Center (4300 N Lamar Blvd) or the Round Rock Donor Center (2132 N Mays, Suite 900/at IH-35, exit 254) and receive a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream. Donors donating at a mobile blood drive between August 1 and 14 will receive a coupon redeemable/valid for one pint of ice cream through August 15. 

Basic requirements to donate blood include being at least 17 years old, weighing at least 115 lbs for whole blood donation and being in generally good health. Donors need to bring a photo ID. The process takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour.

Austin Monthly to reveal their Top 10 Bachelors at annual party and auction

Meet the men Austin Monthly magazine’s editors have selected as the city’s top 10 most eligible bachelors at the ninth annual Bachelor Party and Auction Aug. 7, 7 p.m., at The W Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the bachelors and bid on 10 date packages, which include dinners for two at top restaurants and tickets to events like ACL.

This year’s event is presented by Tru-Skin Dermatology and benefits the Shade Project, a nonprofit dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer. Tickets are $40 for general admission and $100 for VIP, and can be purchased here.

QuickFlex, Inc. leased 1,425 RSF of office space at Nob Hill.  The landlord was represented by Patrick Ley and Rebecca Zigterman with ECR. 


HDR leased 7,510 RSF of office space at Lavaca Plaza located at 504 Lavaca St.  The landlord was represented by Matt Levin and Jason Steinberg with ECR.

myDocket leased 2,610 RSF of office space at Lavaca Plaza located at 504 Lavaca St.  The landlord was represented by Matt Levin and Jason Steinberg with ECR.  Lavaca Plaza is currently 100% occupied.


Robin Hancock leased 733 RSF at Kerbey Lane Village located at 1515 W. 35th Street.  This landlord was represented by Matt Levin and Boyd Harris.  This lease brings the project to 100% occupancy.


Patriot Detection renewed their lease for 3,050 sf at May C’s Business Park in Hutto. The landlord was represented by Lee Ellison and Matt Fain with ECR.

Snarf’s Sandwiches Opens First Texas Location in Austin

Snarf’s Sandwiches, known for its award-winning, oven-toasted subs, will open its first Texas restaurant in Central Austin. The Austin restaurant is located at 2901 Medical Arts Street.
