Annual Meeting
This event celebrates our successes of the past year, looks ahead at the future, honors the Austinite of the Year and recognizes the change of leadership at the Board of Directors. The Chamber also recognizes the Volunteers of the Year for Communications, Education, Government Relations, Regional Infrastructure, Economic Development, Communications, the Ambassador Program, and Small Business.
Austin Business Awards
This annual awards dinner recognizes small, medium, large and non-profit companies, attracting over business and community leaders. Businesses are recognized for their contributions in the areas of Community Relations, Customer Service, Environment, Health and Wellness, Innovative Practices, and Technology.
State of Education
This event provides the compelling business and economic rationale for increasing the number of Metro Austin students who enroll in higher education. The Chamber and its partners share the strategy for ensuring Central Texas employers have the talent they need to power their company's growth. The Chamber's education initiative regional, encompassing 15 school districts and 10 higher education institutions.
Economic Forecast
The premier business and economic forecasting event of the year includes a program with dynamic and diverse speakers along with great networking – an event unmatched in Texas. Each year, this premier event attracts more than 600 attendees from the greater Austin region.
Author of The Rise of the Creative Class, Richard Florida named Austin as one of the top creative cities, and patent activity in the region topped 2,300 new patents in 2006 alone.
