As a developer of embedded hardware, firmware, and device drivers, Focus Embedded is unlike a great many technology businesses in that we're in a part of the electronics industry where companies are bootstrapped and nobody wants to be known as a 'startup,' since track record is everything. Being a Chamber member is one of the ways in which we show that we're established, we have a history behind us, and we're playing the game for the long haul. The fact that we perennially have a presence in an organization like the Austin Chamber helps afford us the measure of gravitas required for being credible in our highly rarified market space.
