The Chamber collaborates with its economic partners in Opportunity Austin to encourage prosperity in the five-county region of Central Texas: Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson.
The Austin Chamber and its partners work together to diversify the regional economy, create jobs, and increase payrolls in our 16 partner cities: Austin, Bastrop, Buda, Cedar Park, Elgin, Georgetown, Hutto, Jarrell, Kyle, Leander, Lockhart, Manor, Pflugerville, Round Rock, San Marcos, and Taylor.
Austin is the headquarters for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas which operates state’s independent electric grid and manages the deregulated market for 75% of Texas.
