Jarrell

Jarrell, Texas is centrally located on I-35, just 40 miles north of Austin. The Jarrell area population is 2,400.

Originally laid out in 1909 by a Temple developer, Jarrell incorporated in 2001 and counts around 1,900 residents inside the city boundaries. Affordable land prices and proximity to Austin's high-tech center give Jarrell a prime position in a growing market. Jarrell's city government is dedicated to the role of a managing the future, providing for new business and maintaining family values.

Jarrell's award winning school district offers diversity in education to meet family, career and workforce needs. JISD received awards in social studies, writing, science and reading for exceeding the standard on students receiving "commended" on their Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) scores.

Subdivisions as well as individual lots of varying size are available for residential building, with several local companies constructing quality homes. Highway frontage land is zoned for commercial use, and water entities are already planning for increasing impact.
