2007 SAN DIEGO, CA
On October 28-30, more than 100 Chamber members, community leaders and regional elected officials visited San Diego in search of best practices and lessons learned on key issues facing Central Texas. This year the Chamber chose San Diego for a number of reasons. San Diego has a thriving residential downtown, extensive multi-modal transportation system, new children's museum and central library. A panel of regional mayors from cities surrounding San Diego have experienced exceptional annual growth rates similar to those of several Central Texas cities and will address the group.
