How to Build a Cleaner Region

Imagine a building that actually generates energy. A building designed with exterior solar panels that produce enough energy to run itself and, in some cases, an abundant supply that is sold back to power providers. As Austin positions itself to become a leader in the Clean Energy industry, Commercial and Industrial Real Estate developers must stay on top of the newest advances in the Clean Energy sector and, more importantly, know how to implement them into our region in a cost effective manner.

WHAT: Greater Austin Chamber Clean Energy Seminar
WHEN: Tuesday, February 28, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m
WHERE: MCC Building in the auditorium, 3925 West Braker Lane

The purpose of this seminar is to increase the promotion of clean energy awareness and education. The seminar will concentrate on topics such as cost measures, improving profitability and ways to incorporate new clean energy technologies into building systems.  Keynote speaker Joe Van Belleghem will discuss sustainable development strategies. Panelists will provide technical information ranging from life-costing analysis, more specific information on clean energy technologies most applicable as well as a look at the future technologies and provide information for the various local, state and federal tax incentives available.
