Housed at one of Austin's iconic venues, "A Celebration of American Startups," is an event celebrating startup pioneers and the dynamic future of entrepreneurship in America with an onstage program and great live music. Hosted by the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Startup America Partnership, Startup Texas, Gemalto and .co the event will also spotlight Startup America Partnership's regional affiliates, who are working to provide state-level startup support. This year's event will feature many influential entrepreneurial leaders including Steve Case, current Chairman of Startup America and the Case Foundation, Scott Case, founding CTO of Priceline and current CEO of Startup America, Joah Spearman, co-founder of AvecMode and The Neighborhood, Ingrid Vanderveldt, CEO of Green Girl Energy, Inc. and the creator of the GLASS Forum, and many more. |

"Doing Business in the USA" Seminar

Cosponsored with ChinWag, this reception will follow an all day seminar for the over 12 foreign delegations attending SXSW to gain insight on how to effectively do business in the US. We’re working with SXSW to create the event, which will be held at City Hall. This is part of an expanded effort focused on international companies. At the reception, please come and speak with international companies about your experiences in Austin and make some new contacts. Over 150 companies are expected to attend. |
