The first business recruited under the Opportunity Austin banner, TASUS Corporation of Bloomington, Ind., has announced that it will locate in Georgetown, providing 100 jobs and an initial investment of $6 million that will grow in later years to $13 million.

TASUS is a plastic injection mold manufacturer of auto trim and a Tier 1 supplier to Toyota, which is now building an $800 million truck manufacturing plant in San Antonio. TASUS also supplies other automakers. Because of the Toyota location, automotive suppliers are a target industry for recruiting under the Opportunity Austin plan.
