Manor

The City of Manor is situated approximately 12 miles east of the City of Austin on HWY 290 which links much of Central Texas to Houston. Situated just east of the new interchange of SH 130 and HWY 290 the City of Manor has experienced residential developments that have tripled the population in a few short years. Our many new subdivisions offer a variety of housing types from first time buyers to retirees. Recently City Council adopted a residential revitalization program which has initiated new residential development in the older section of the city.

In conjunction with the current boom in residential growth, commercial retail and service providers are discovering that the City of Manor has affordable land, along with streamlined development processes created to welcome new development. In anticipation of new business opportunities, the City of Manor has established Economic Incentive Packages, identified Incentive Zones, established a plan for a Downtown Business District adjacent to a proposed Capmetro commuter rail line, and adopted Commercial Design Guidelines to promote quality development.
