Kyle Located in the heart of Central Texas, Kyle is a charming community situated between Austin and San Antonio. Interstate 35 and MoPac Rail Line, sometimes called the "Backbone of America," are major transportation arteries that run through the middle of Kyle. In the late 1800's, Kyle was a major player in the cotton business. This area was also the "Gateway to Texas Ranch Country." By the late 1990's, Kyle was seeing a large increase in population and commercial development. Today, Kyle is the second largest town in the fast growing Hays County. This creates unique opportunites and challenges for all the citizens that consider Kyle their home. |
