Jones & Carter, Inc. began in 1976 when founding partners J.R. 'Bob' Jones, P.E., and Larry Carter, P.E. envisioned a company whose mission would be to serve Texas communities with quality, honesty and integrity. Hard work and a determination to get the job done right resulted in a steady expansion of business.

In 1996, the company expanded its services to include Dallas and the surrounding communities. Four years later, in 2000, the Austin office was opened to serve the central Texas region. And, responding to the growing need for a presence in communities north of Houston, The Woodlands office opened its doors in 2003.
