Capitol Chevrolet is celebrating their 70th Anniversary year with exciting offers available to their customers all year long. The Nash family began its automobile business relationship in Austin in 1935 when John H. Nash, Sr. bought Monroe Motors, renamed it Capitol Chevrolet, and operated out of a converted grocery store at 5th and San Jacinto.

In 1996, Capitol Chevrolet opened its current facility on the Motor Mile. The dealership is locally and family owned. Charles Nash Sr., the owner has worked with Chevrolet for 50 years, and was rewarded with a celebration party as well as a plaque commemorating his time with Chevrolet. Nancy Nash Harper is a third generation dealer operator of the store, and her sons Thomas and Will Harper currently also work in the store. Capitol Chevrolet has been the recipient of many awards and recognitions both from General Motors/Chevrolet and the community of Austin.
